Speaking to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) during an inspection tour of the Messilah Beach (Phase 2) project, Sheikh Sabah described the development as a modern recreational destination and a significant addition to Kuwait’s entertainment and tourism landscape. He noted that the project offers a high-level experience that enhances comfort and variety for visitors, both locally and regionally.
The governor emphasized the importance of cooperation with the private sector to upgrade tourism facilities and improve service quality in line with public aspirations.
Also speaking during the tour, Abdullah Al-Jaafar, CEO of the Touristic Enterprises Company (TEC), told KUNA that the visit aimed to monitor progress on the project and review the implementation stages and final finishing touches. He noted that this initiative is part of TEC’s broader strategy to boost and diversify Kuwait’s tourism offerings.
Al-Jaafar highlighted the significance of the Messilah Beach project as one of the most prominent family-oriented entertainment destinations recently developed by TEC. Covering an area of 70,000 square meters, the project is built to the highest international standards to reflect the latest trends in family entertainment and deliver an exceptional experience to a wide range of visitors.
