New conditions for training non-Kuwaiti doctors

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 4: Minister of Health Sheikh Dr Bassel Al-Sabah has issued a decision concerning the conditions and regulations for training non-Kuwaiti doctors and assistant medical professionals, reports Al-Anba daily.

According to the decision, non-Kuwaiti doctors and assistant medical professionals who graduated from faculties of Medicine, Dental Studies and applied education or those hired under the designation of “Assistant Registrar” among the children of Kuwaiti women, husbands of Kuwaiti women, and wives of Kuwaiti men (provided their marital relations are valid) as well as Bedoun residents registered under the Central System for Remedying Status of Illegal Residents (CSRSIR), children of martyrs, children of military officers, and other nationalities with valid residency, can be allocated for training.
