KUWAIT CITY, June 8: Personnel from the Capital Intelligence unit have arrested the suspect in the murder of an unidentified person.
The victim, believed to be an Asian, was killed in the free zone area and his body was dragged for about 50 meters leaving behind a blood trail.
During interrogation the Indian suspect admitted to killing the man over a financial dispute. He said the victim owed him more than 1,000 dinars and failed to repay but kept on postponing the date of repayment.
He admitted to hitting the victim on the head more than once with an iron pipe and battered his body with the same pipe.
Personnel from the Personnel from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) have recovered the crime tool. The suspect has been referred to the concerned authorities.
