KUWAIT CITY, Aug 5 : The supervisory team of the Hawalli Municipality branch closed two cafés for violating the rules and regulations that are in force and also lifted 12 abandoned vehicles from Salmiya and South Surrah regions, while the Safety Department organized inspection tours of the entire Hawalli governorate to ensure no encroachments are happening on government property, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

Director of Safety Department Eng Faisal Al-Enezi said during the tours the inspectors issued warnings to a number of companies, 3 of them for encroaching on government property.

The senior officials stressed the inspectors are taking legal measures before a citation is issued, meaning the violators are warned and given ample time to rectify wrongdoing. On the other hand, the supervisory team in Al-Ahmadi Governorate closed a restaurant for allowing visitors to enter the premises and place orders thus posing an imminent threat to the safety of the public
