KUWAIT CITY, Oct 14: Kuwait Municipality has announced the commencement of several field tours by its Violations Removal Department teams across the six governorates. The initiative aims to address and reduce the negative impacts of encroachments on state property while enforcing regulatory measures against offenders.
In a press statement released on Monday, the municipality outlined the goals of the specialized monitoring team, which include assessing compliance with relevant regulations and systems. The team will conduct inspections in various areas known for violations to facilitate their removal.
During today’s field campaign, the teams successfully removed 35 encroachments on state property. Among the removals were canopies located near electricity transformers that hinder the operations of the Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy.
Additionally, the municipality indicated that this initial round of inspections will be followed by further field tours across all governorates. These tours will adhere to a schedule developed by the Public Relations Department in coordination with the Violations Removal Department and will continue over the coming weeks.
