KUWAIT CITY, Jan 16: The Director of the Public Cleanliness and Road Occupations Department of in Al-Ahmadi Governorate, Nawaf Al-Mutairi, said the supervisory team has lifted 125 camps that violated the terms and conditions in the Al-Ahmadi region, reports Al-Seyassah daily

The head of the committee to study and update spring camp sites said the municipality is determined to see commitment to the official camping period, stressing that the supervisory teams do not hesitate to remove any camp that violates the terms and conditions during the camping period.

The Director of the Department Muhammad Al-Jaba’a, said teams have been formed to tour the areas and the team members succeeded in removing 12 illegal camps and 20 mobile groceries, 250 motorcycles, and arrested 6 street vendors in Al-Subbiya and Kabd, next to the radio station, Al-Jahra, and Al-Mutlaa.

The municipality has informed the citizens wishing to camp that the inspection teams in the municipality will not hesitate to remove any violating camp and stressed on the need to adhere to the controls and conditions for establishing spring camps.

As part of the efforts made by the security services to maintain security and fight corruption, the criminal security sector, represented by the General Department of Criminal Investigation, the Al-Ahmadi and Farwaniya Governorate Investigation Departments has arrested 30 people who were caught gambling in various regions.

The security officers have seized money, mobile phones and gambling tools from the suspects and referred them to the concerned authorities.
