KUWAIT CITY, June 5: The Food and Nutrition Public Authority recently seized over half a ton of spoiled meat in Mubarakiya, leading to the closure of several butcher and meat shops. The violations were promptly referred to the prosecution.

Muhammad Al-Kandari, the head of the Mubarakiya Center at the Authority, emphasized the Authority's commitment to enforcing the law and protecting consumers from food tampering. During the operation, nine stores were closed, and multiple violations were documented after approximately 506 kilograms of adulterated meat, unfit for human consumption, were confiscated.

Al-Kandari highlighted the severity of these violations, stating that they are serious offenses that cannot be overlooked. The necessary measures will be taken to confiscate and destroy the seized meat to prevent any harm to the public.
