KUWAIT CITY, June 16: The Kuwait national futsal team achieved a commendable second place in the Arab Cup championship held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In the final match held on Friday, they faced Morocco, the three-time reigning champions, and unfortunately suffered a heavy defeat with a score of 1-7.
Abdullah Al-Shaheen, the President of the Football Association, expressed his gratitude and recognition for the tremendous effort and exceptional technical skills displayed by the players throughout the tournament. He also acknowledged their strong determination and resilience, which played a significant role in their journey to the final match. Al-Shaheen emphasized the federation's commitment to continue supporting the Kuwait team in their upcoming endeavors.
