MoI warns against tampering with Kuwaiti-Saudi ties

KUWAIT CITY, July 15: The Ministry of Interior said Saturday it follows a zero tolerance against anybody who might tamper with the relationship between the State of Kuwait and the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Referring to a blogger who posted offending remarks to “an icon of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” the Ministry said in a press release that the incident was referred to the competent services to as a prelude to taking a punitive legal action.

The Ministry will never tolerate any offending remarks or actions and will deal firmly with anybody who might misuse the social media or meddle in the relations with the sisterly countries, according to the statement released by the Ministry’s General Directorate of Security Relations and Media.

It affirmed keenness on the exemplary, deep-rooted historical ties between the State of Kuwait and the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. (KUNA)
