KUWAIT CITY, Feb 1: The Ministry of Interior, through the General Department of Traffic, has announced that several key exits on major roadways will temporarily close this Saturday, February 1, 2025, due to ongoing maintenance works and traffic management efforts.

The first set of closures will affect the exits on Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Expressway (5th Ring Road). Specifically, the exits between Al-Jahran and the Al-Surrah and Al-Salam neighborhoods will be closed to motorists. Additionally, the exits for those traveling from Al-Salmiya towards the neighborhoods of Qurtuba and Al-Siddiq will also be closed starting in the early hours of Saturday, February 1, 2025. These closures are expected to impact traffic flow in these areas and will last for an undisclosed period.

In another traffic advisory, the General Department of Traffic also announced the closure of the exit ramp from the 4th Ring Road leading to the Surra area and connecting to the Al-Maghreb Expressway towards Ahmadi. This closure is part of maintenance work at the intersection of the 4th Ring Road and the Maghreb Expressway, which will begin on Saturday, February 1, 2025, and continue until Saturday, February 8, 2025.
