KUWAIT CITY, July 31: Burgan Sports Club has officially renewed the contract of volleyball standout Mohammed Ishaq for another season, aiming to bolster the team’s strength for the upcoming campaign.

Ishaq, a seasoned middle blocker, brings extensive experience to the squad. He began his career in the youth ranks of Kazma SC and went on to become a prominent figure for both Kazma and Kuwait’s national volleyball team.

Over the past two seasons, Ishaq has delivered impressive performances for Burgan, which led the club’s management to extend his contract. His consistency and leadership on the court have made him a key asset to the team’s structure.

Despite the recent departures of talented players Youssef Mandil and Abdulrahman Jassim—who joined Al-Arabi SC on loan for one season—Burgan remains focused on building a competitive team. Following a strong showing last season, the club is determined to maintain its momentum and contend for titles in the upcoming year.
