KUWAIT CITY, Oct 31: Ministry of Education has been considering the possibility of pushing forward the dates of examinations for the first and second semesters for all educational levels such that there will be a gap of two days between the end of the examinations of each level, reports Al-Anba daily.

According to an informed source, the examinations of grades 10 and 11 will be separate from those of grade 12. He expressed objection to this proposal, explaining it will prolong the date of the mid-term examinations, which will be pushed forward by at least one week. It will also affect the study plans prepared by the technical supervisors, and will require deletion or compression of some lessons.

The source urged Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr Hamid Al-Azmi to intervene quickly and stop such a proposal, which if implemented will cause confusion among parents and students. He insisted that the outcome of the proposal will be negative.
