KUWAIT, May 18: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced the monitoring of 79 cooperative societies, supermarkets, shops and pharmacies during its inspection tours and monitoring 66 catering branches to ensure the flow of sales and delivery of foodstuffs to their beneficiaries, and to determine the extent of its commitment and to maintain the stability of product prices.
The ministry said in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) today, Monday, that its inspection teams' rounds are continuing their work in light of the decisions in place regarding the relevant procedures to face the repercussions of the spread of Corona Virus (SARS Cove-2) infection that causes (Covid-19).
The emergency center had received 155 complaints via the hotline (135), stressing the need to adhere to the law because of the exceptional circumstance the country is going through, and that it will be its lookout teams for the lookout for all who are asked to take advantage of the current circumstance (KUNA)
