KUWAIT CITY, Aug 16: In a collaborative effort between the General Department of Criminal Evidence and the General Department of Information Systems, a new service will be launched on Sunday, 8/18/2024, to facilitate biometric fingerprinting for bedridden individuals and those with moderate to severe and mental disabilities, directly at their locations.
This initiative is part of the Ministry of Interior’s commitment to improving community services and easing the process for people with special needs and bedridden individuals, ensuring access to essential government services without unnecessary hardship.
A WhatsApp number (94458124) has been provided for individuals to submit all necessary health-related documents. They will be contacted to schedule an appointment for the biometric fingerprinting procedure.
Additionally, the Ministry of Interior has extended the fingerprinting deadline for citizens until September 30 and for residents until December 31 this year. After these deadlines, transactions for any citizen or resident who has not completed biometric fingerprinting will be halted.
