Ministry of Interior opens Security Facilities Building at Al-Zour Refinery
Assistant Undersecretary for Special Security Affairs at the Ministry of Interior, Major General Abdullah Al-Mulla, during the opening of the Security Facility Building at the Al-Zour refinery.

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 31: Major General Abdullah Al-Mulla, Assistant Undersecretary for Special Security Affairs at the Ministry of Interior, inaugurated the new Security Facilities Building at Al-Zour Refinery, part of the Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company (KIPIC).

In a press statement released by the Ministry of Interior on Friday, Major General Al-Mulla emphasized that the opening of this facility reflects the security institution's commitment to ensuring the highest levels of security and protection for critical national infrastructure. This initiative aligns with the Ministry's leadership directives to collaborate with civil and security sectors to deliver comprehensive security measures for essential facilities.

During the inauguration, Major General Al-Mulla was briefed on the company’s operations and the security responsibilities of its teams. He commended the General Department of Security Facilities for its efforts and emphasized the importance of vigilance and prompt responses to any incidents, following established protocols and plans. He expressed gratitude to everyone involved in the project’s completion.

Following the inauguration, Major General Al-Mulla toured the building, inspecting its equipment and capabilities, and concluded his visit with a field tour of the security points within Al-Zour Refinery. The event was attended by Wadha Ahmed Al-Khatib, Acting CEO of Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company, Brigadier Talal Al-Mansour, Director General of the General Department of Security Facilities, and Colonel Ghazi Al-Shaiji, Director of the Department of Protection of Vital and Oil Facilities.
