KUWAIT CITY, Jan 28: In a recent directive issued by the Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Lieutenant General Sheikh Salem Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the ministry has announced the intensification of security and traffic campaigns across the country. The primary objective is to apprehend violators and outlaws while taking a strong stance against any attempts to compromise the nation's security or violate traffic laws and regulations. The Public Relations and Security Media Department revealed that the directive involves a widespread deployment of traffic patrols on both main and secondary roads, as well as at key intersections during the morning period. The focus is on optimizing traffic flow, launching daily traffic campaigns, and adopting a resolute approach to addressing any wrongful behavior. Additionally, the authorities will closely monitor areas prone to recklessness, and intensify awareness campaigns to promote a culture of security and responsible traffic conduct.
