Ministries Volleyball Super Cup set for October 19

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 2: The Ministries Volleyball Super Cup will take place on October 19, featuring a single match between the National Guard and the Ministry of Electricity at the Volleyball Federation Hall in Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Sports Complex, confirmed Abdullah Al-Najdi, Secretary of the Technical Committee for Volleyball in the Ministries League.

Al-Najdi explained that the Technical Committee recently held a meeting with representatives from the participating ministries and government authorities to finalize the competition’s rules and regulations.

Nine entities are taking part in the Ministries Volleyball competitions: two teams from the National Guard, two from the Ministry of Education, and one each from the Ministry of Electricity and Water, the Fire Department, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Interior, and the Ministry of Culture and Information.

The Ministries Volleyball League is set to kick off on October 11 and will be played across three phases. All matches will be held at the Kuwait Volleyball Federation Hall, with an additional venue to be announced later. Dates for the Ministries Cup and Beach Volleyball competitions will also be released soon.

Al-Najdi extended his gratitude to all participating ministries and wished all teams success in the tournament.

Meanwhile, two matches of the Volleyball Federation Championship are scheduled today at Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Sports Complex, with Al-Nasr facing Al-Yarmouk and Kuwait Club taking on Al-Shabab.
