Ministries of Electricity, Health, and KISR discuss environmental readiness
The Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy holds a coordination meeting with the Ministry of Health and the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research to follow up on regional developments.

KUWAIT CITY, June 16: Dr. Subaih Al-Khuzaim, Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, convened a coordination meeting at the ministry’s headquarters on Monday with officials from the Ministry of Health and the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR). The meeting aimed to review the latest regional developments and assess preparedness to address any potential environmental impacts.

In a press statement, Dr. Al-Khuzaim emphasized the critical need for continued collaboration among relevant authorities. He urged the adoption of all necessary preventive measures to safeguard Kuwait’s vital resources and mitigate any negative effects stemming from the current regional situation.

The meeting included key figures such as Dr. Adel Al-Zamel, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Electricity; Dr. Munther Al-Hasawi, Assistant Undersecretary for Public Health Affairs at the Ministry of Health; Dr. Nasser Al-Juwaisiri, Director of the Radiation Protection Department; and Dr. Faisal Al-Humaidan, Director General of KISR, along with several ministry leaders and KISR experts.

KISR specialists Dr. Abdullah Al-Enezi, Dr. Yousef Al-Asiri, and Dr. Mansour Ahmed presented visual demonstrations of the latest simulation systems and scientific research developed by KISR. These studies focus on monitoring and analyzing possible environmental repercussions in light of ongoing regional developments.
