The Minister of Health reviews the equipment and devices within the new department.

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 5: On Sunday, Minister of Health Dr. Ahmad Al-Awadhi officially inaugurated the new integrated dental department at Farwaniya Hospital. The opening ceremony, attended by Dr. Ahmad Assad, Assistant Undersecretary for Dental Affairs, is a key initiative under the government's 100-day action plan.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Health, the new department aims to deliver comprehensive dental services to both hospital patients and staff, with a particular focus on those in critical need, such as bedridden patients. The facility features two dental clinics, an X-ray room, and a sterilization room, designed to enhance overall healthcare quality and treatment efficiency.

This department is part of a broader strategy to improve dental care across the country, following the recent launch of a similar facility at Jahra Hospital. The ministry emphasized that these expansions are integral to the ongoing efforts to upgrade health infrastructure and ensure top-notch medical care for Kuwaiti citizens.
