KUWAI CITY, Nov 15: Under the auspices of the Minister of Trade and Industry and the Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Mohammed Al-Aiban, the 26th Asian Club Championship, hosted by Al-Qadsia Sports Club, is scheduled to take place from November 17 to 27 at the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Sports Hall Complex in the Sabah Al-Salem area.

The tournament welcomed the participating teams, with Shabab Sidon, UAE, Qatar, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia being the first to arrive while the remaining teams are expected to arrive today.

The Asian Handball Championship features 12 clubs, divided into two groups. The first group includes defending champions Al-Najma from Bahrain, Al-Kuwait from Kuwait, Al-Gharafa from Qatar, Al-Khaleej from Saudi Arabia, Al-Salah from Palestine, and the Indian Golden Eagle.

The second group comprises Al-Qadsia, Sai from India, Al-Arabi from Qatar, the Iraqi Army, Shabab Sidon from Lebanon, and Al-Sharjah from the Emirates.
