KUWAIT CITY, Oct 11: Minister of Finance Fahd Al-Jarallah has referred to the acting head of the State Audit Bureau, Adel Al-Sarawi, the report of the committee formed by former Finance Minister Abdul-Wahab Al-Rasheed concerning suspicions of financial and administrative irregularities related to the Public Institution for Social Security (PIFSS), for review and take appropriate action, reports Al-Jarida daily.
The report had previously been referred to the Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha), but it was returned because it did not contain any suspicions of corruption, with a recommendation to refer it to the Audit Bureau.
