Bid to involve private sector to advance development

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 18: The Minister of State for Housing Affairs and Minister of State for Services Affairs Dr. Abdullah Ma’arafi, a number of representatives of civil and academic bodies, in the presence of the General Director of the Public Authority for Housing Welfare, Engr Badr Al-Luqian and Deputy Director General for Investment Sector Affairs Engr Hadeel bin Naji discussed ways to develop housing welfare projects and involve the private sector to advance the development in public interest by making use of the available expertise in various investment fields that serve the development of housing welfare projects.

Representatives from the Kuwait Economic Society who participated in the meeting include Abdul Wahhab Al-Rasheed, Khaled Al-Mutairi, Ahmed Al-Taheeh, Ahmed Al-Mulla, and a group of academics - Dr. Ahmed Al-Mutairi, Dr. Salah Al Hammadi, Dr. Abdullah Al-Awadi, Dr. Ahmed Bash, Dr. Muhammad Al-Asfour, Dr. Dhari Al-Rasheed.
