Millions spent during the Eid

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 4: Before the start of the Eid Al-Adha holidays, which extended over 5 days in all state institutions, local banks had made all preparations to ensure there was no shortage of money for their customers.

The daily added, the banks had pumped approximately KD 700 million in ATM machines. The payment of salaries of government before the Eid Al- Adha holiday was the reason spending was high by Kuwaitis, especially on sacrificial animals. The banking sources expected the rise to be about 18 percent compared to last year.
