KUWAIT CITY, Dec 28: The Ministry of Interior has detained a military man working at the Salmi port for interrogation for allegedly helping seven people to leave Kuwait illegally, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily added, this was discovered when the men were arrested by the Saudi authorities at the Al-Reqqaie port. At the time of arrest the men had no passports with them.
The source added that “the seven men were referred to the authorities in the Emirate of Al Sharqiya and detained and the Kuwaiti authorities were informed. The Kuwaiti authorities are investigating to what extent the military man was involved in the incident. In the meantime the suspects are expected to be handed over to the Kuwaiti authorities to complete legal procedures.
