Midday Work Ban: 33 Violations Found in June Inspections

KUWAIT CITY, July 6: As part of its ongoing efforts to enforce the ministerial decision banning outdoor work during afternoon hours from June 1 to the end of August, the Public Authority for Manpower has released inspection statistics for the period from June 1 to 30, 2025.

According to the Authority, inspection teams visited 60 worksites, identifying 33 workers in violation of the midday work ban. First-time violations were recorded against 30 companies, while no repeat offenses were found during follow-up inspections.

The report also noted that re-inspections were carried out at the same 30 companies and that 12 violation reports were received during the month.

The Authority urged citizens and residents to continue cooperating by reporting any breaches of the midday work ban—which is in effect daily from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.—by contacting its WhatsApp service at (6192 2493).
