MEA alters Beirut-Kuwait flight times in response to airspace changes
Middle East Airlines flight

BEIRUT, Lebanon, June 23: Middle East Airlines (MEA) announced Monday the advancement of flight departure times from Beirut to Kuwait for three consecutive days, citing urgent adjustments to regional air routes due to ongoing tensions in the Middle East.

In a statement, the airline said the revised schedule would apply to flights ME 404 departing Beirut for Kuwait on June 24, 25, and 26. The new departure time is set for 7:50 a.m., one hour earlier than the previously scheduled time of 8:40 a.m., according to local time in both Beirut and Kuwait.

MEA explained that the decision was taken in response to current circumstances and changes in air navigation routes, which have led to extended flight durations. The airline emphasized that the changes were necessary to ensure continued operational efficiency and passenger safety amid shifting regional conditions.

Passengers are advised to verify the updated flight details through MEA’s call center or official website, as the company works to keep travelers informed about any further adjustments.

The airline attributed the rescheduling to recent military escalations between Israeli forces and Iran, which have affected civil aviation routes and airspace in the region.

MEA assured passengers that the measure is temporary and taken in accordance with international aviation safety standards.
