KUWAIT CITY, Oct 18: In a coordinated operation held on Friday, October 17, 2025, security authorities carried out a large-scale security and traffic campaign in the Kabd area, under the direct supervision of Major General Hamed Manahi Al-Dawas, Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs, and in the presence of Brigadier Dukheil Al-Dukheil, Head of the Special Security and Reform Institutions Sector.
The campaign was jointly implemented by units from the Criminal Security Sector, the Traffic and Operations Sector, and the General Directorate of Special Security Forces. It aimed to strengthen law enforcement efforts, enhance public safety, and curb illegal activities in the area.
During the operation, authorities recorded 357 various traffic violations, arrested 15 individuals wanted by law, and detained five persons for violating residency and labor regulations. Legal action was taken against all offenders in accordance with existing laws and procedures.
The Ministry of Interior emphasized that such campaigns are part of its broader strategy to uphold security, enforce the rule of law, and ensure the safety of both citizens and residents. The initiative also seeks to reduce reckless driving, traffic offenses, and other behaviors that endanger lives on public and rural roads.
The Ministry reiterated its commitment to continuing intensive field campaigns across all regions of the country, reaffirming its dedication to protecting public safety, maintaining order, and combating all unlawful practices that disrupt social stability.
