KUWAIT CITY, Jan 16: Seven firefighting teams managed to control the fire that broke out Friday evening in sanitary ware showrooms in the Shuwaikh Industrial Area on an area of 5,000 square meters, reports Al-Rai daily. Prompt action by firemen prevented a big disaster. However, there were no human casualties.
The Public Relations Department of the Directorate-General of Fire Department (DGFD) said firemen have detected many violations which were the cause for the outbreak of the fire. The Fire Protection Department of the Capital Governorate is expected to take necessary measures and that the investigation teams are doing their work.
