The Japanese man known for his unique transformation into a "dog" is reportedly experiencing rejection from actual canines.

TOKYO, Japan, Oct 5, (Agencies): The Japanese man known for his unique transformation into a "dog" is reportedly experiencing rejection from actual canines. This individual, who goes by the name "Toco," gained international recognition when he spent 2 million yen (approximately $16,000 at the time) on a remarkably lifelike rough collie costume. Subsequently, he launched a YouTube channel dedicated to documenting his adventures, which included interviews and public outings while dressed as a four-legged creature.

Despite his astonishing resemblance to a dog, Toco has encountered difficulties in forming friendships with real-life dogs. In a recent interview with The Sun, he lamented, "They seemed a little surprised, and unfortunately, they did not treat me as an equal." Video clips from his initial public walk with the German TV station RTL capture Toco interacting with actual dogs. Although the canines displayed curiosity at first, Toco ultimately found himself left alone with humans.

While Toco faces challenges in connecting with real dogs, he has expressed a desire to meet like-minded individuals who also enjoy dressing up as canines. In a previous interview with the New York Post, he mentioned that meetups with such individuals would be "great." Additionally, he harbors aspirations of starring in a movie, stating, "I think it would be great if I were able to use my skills and get the opportunity to appear as a dog in a movie."
