Municipality inspectors issuing citations and sealing the violating shops

KUWAIT CITY, March 9: The Public Relations Department at Kuwait Municipality revealed in a press statement that Farwaniya branch carried out a campaign targeting shops, random markets, cafés and parked vehicles in Ardiya and Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh.

Director of the branch Eng Ahmad Al-Huzaim said the campaign included issuing 43 citations for violations concerning public sanitation, confiscating 32 cubic meters of spoilt fruits and vegetables and putting 60 stickers on vehicles for sale.

He confirmed the Engineering, Auditing and Monitoring Department issued 15 citations for violation of regulations on advertisements and closed one shop. He went on to say that the Auditing and Monitoring Department for Municipality Services issued 140 licenses for commercial shops.
