‘Make-shift’ markets, shops to be inspected

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 29: Public Hygiene and Road Usage Department of Farwaniya Municipality conducted inspection tour of make-shift markets and several shops in Jleeb Shuyoukh, Hassawi, Farwaniya, Ishbiliya, Abdullah Al-Mubarak and Sabah Al-Nasser areas, which resulted in the issuance of 25 violations and confiscation of 57 cubic meters of vegetables, fruits and used furniture.

Head of the sector Saad Al Kherinj stated that all centers affiliated to the governorate embarked on inspection tour of the governorate to remove makeshift structures that spoil the scenery while ensuring cleanliness.

He noted Team “A” of the Road Usage Department removed 115 cubic meters of waste, and inspectors have removed encroachments on State property and dealt with public hygiene related issues. He noted the campaign will continue over an indeterminate period. No changes in percentages of admission
