KUWAIT CITY, Nov 2: Seven firefighting teams from the Tahrir, Jahra, Qairawan, Ardiya, Isnad, Sumoud, and Hazardous Materials Centers successfully brought under control a massive fire that broke out on Sunday evening at a factory in the Amghara area.
The facility contained aluminum, fiberglass materials, and lithium batteries, which intensified the blaze and made firefighting efforts challenging. Thanks to the swift response and coordination of the teams, the fire was contained without any reported injuries.
The operation was conducted under the direct supervision of Brigadier General Omar Abdulaziz Hamad, Deputy Director General of the Public Fire Force for Civil Defense (by delegation), and Brigadier General Abdullah Hussein Abdullah, Director of the Fire Department for Jahra Governorate.
Authorities have since launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
