KUWAIT CITY, Jan 27: A fire Wednesday killed a domestic worker and four people including a mother and her three children who were trapped inside when their house caught fire, were treated for asphyxiation, reports Al-Rai daily. The Public Relations Department of the General Fire Brigade stated after a report was received by the Central Operations Department about the fire in a house in Ardhiya, firemen from the Ardhiya and Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh fire centers rushed to the spot and rescued a woman and her three children who were trapped in the house and the domestic worker who was injured was rushed to a hospital where she died of injuries. As the firemen fought the flames one of the officers sustained burns to the hand. The fire department is investigating the cause of the fire.
