KUWAIT CITY, June 5: An Asian housemaid has been admitted to the Jahra Hospital with brain hemorrhage, reports Al-Anba daily. A police source said according to the sponsor the maid fell from the bed and got serious injury. Investigations are underway to identify the cause of the injury.Miraculous escape: A Kuwaiti citizen miraculously escaped death when his sports car crashed into trees in front of the empty Mishref Palace, says Al-Seyassah. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the accident, securitymen, paramedics and firefighters rushed to the location to find the driver trapped inside his sports car. Firefighters rescued the driver by cutting up the vehicle and pulling him out. Paramedics referred him to the nearest hospital for treatment. Investigations revealed that the driver was speeding and lost control of his sports car, causing it to crash into trees in front of the empty Mishref Palace. The car was removed from the road and traffic was organized.
