LOS ANGELES, March 6, (Agencies): Expressing gratitude for her health, Madonna opened up during a reflective moment on stage at the first of her five sold-out Celebration World Tour shows at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. The Queen of Pop shared insights into her hospitalization last year due to a severe bacterial infection.

Despite acknowledging the emotional toll of narrating the story of her life every night on stage, Madonna emphasized that the physical demands of the show were manageable. Reflecting on her resilience, she spoke about overcoming numerous challenges, including falls and broken bones, asserting that nothing could thwart her spirit.

Recounting her health scare from the previous summer, Madonna described it as a “near-death experience” and revealed the first word she uttered upon waking from a four-day induced coma was a resolute “No.” She then shared a conversation with her longtime manager, Guy Oseary, during her hospital stay. When he inquired about her return to touring, Madonna boldly responded, “in two months!” highlighting the power of determination.

Acknowledging the presence of one of her doctors at the concert, Madonna expressed gratitude and gave a shoutout. She shared that the harrowing experience compelled her to embrace a slower pace. She described the challenge of relinquishing control and recognized it as a valuable lesson in letting go.
