KUWAIT CITY, Nov 8: The Meteorological Department stated that most areas in Kuwait will witness light to moderate rains today and tomorrow, accompanied by winds that may exceed 50 kilometers per hour in some areas, sea waves rising to six feet. Chances of rain to continue until tomorrow morning.

The weather forecast observer at the administration, Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi, told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the country is under the influence of depression of air coming in from the direction of the Red Sea, which leads to the multiplication of low and medium clouds interspersed with thunderstorms.

Al-Qarawi also stated that chances of rain will return from noon on Thursday again  ranging from light to moderate rains, thunderstorms at times, with high levels of humidity and the opportunity for fog to form in some areas.

He called on everyone to follow the weather forecast through website www.met.gov.kw  especially during weather fluctuations, to know the latest weather developments and to view weather warnings if issued
