Lebanon is purified from Iranian filth and proxies

There is no way back for Lebanon to the era before the signing of the ‘Framework Agreement’ between Beirut and Tel Aviv under the auspices of Washington. It is no longer possible to return to the civil war that Hezbollah threatens to launch, because all the sectarian groups, even those considered by the terrorist group Hezbollah to be its support base, have started to turn against it.

Today, all Arab states are striving to help Lebanon to dispose off terrorist groups, not only the Iranian-backed Hezbollah. Arab reactions are supportive of the agreement because they consider it a window of salvation for a country that has been living through various crises since 1975 due to the intervention of foreign powers. Terrorist groups used to control Lebanese decision-making, leading to its isolation from its Arab neighbors and from the whole world. Hezbollah, Iran’s Lebanese proxy, is keen on instilling certain lies in the minds of the people, especially the Lebanese Shiites, to convince them that it is waging a holy war to liberate Jerusalem, in addition to repeating its senseless slogans, statements and empty speeches.

In reality, most Hezbollah supporters realize that these claims are unfounded, as Hezbollah lacks the strength to confront Israel. The second reason is that the motivation is to establish a foothold for implementing the Iranian plan -- a Persian base on the Mediterranean coast, making Tehran a powerful player in the region. Based on this, the Iranians insist on supporting Hezbollah and include it in the memorandum of understanding with the United States. To prove this, Hezbollah exploits every opportunity to deceive the Lebanese people, claiming it remains the dominant force in Lebanon. Thus, Hezbollah capitalized on religious sentiment during Ashura to tell other Lebanese groups that it is the strongest.

All of the Lebanese people, especially the Shiites, know well that this commemoration is purely religious and has nothing to do with politics. They understand better than anyone that celebrating this occasion has nothing to do with political stances. After the event, many Lebanese Shiites voiced their opposition to Hezbollah, which they consider the cause of their suffering, indeed the suffering endured by the people of South Lebanon since 1984. Therefore, voices opposing Hezbollah have become louder and louder, as no one wants to spend their life fighting wars on behalf of other parties. Anyone following regional and international developments understands that what is happening today goes far beyond limiting weapons to the Lebanese and Iraqi states. What is happening is the re-establishment of a state capable of asserting its authority and its institutions, particularly its armed forces. What is happening now is a declaration that Iranian control over four Arab capitals is now a thing of the past.

Consequently, the ‘Framework Agreement’ between Lebanon and Israel can be seen as the foundation for a Lebanese state capable of uniting all of its components under the umbrella of constitutional institutions, as well as restoring normal relations with the Arab world and the international community, free from Hezbollah’s control over governments and institutions and its intimidation tactics using illegitimate weapons. The Gulf states and all Arab countries welcome this agreement. The support it received from major world capitals means that it is now time for Lebanon to get out of the hell into which Iran plunged it through its terrorist proxies for four decades. This is the fruit that every lover of Lebanon, that beautiful country, desires.
