KUWAIT CITY, Nov 3: Many travelers have not completed their biometric fingerprinting before arriving at Kuwait’s border points, resulting in long queues and delays in departure procedures. To make travel faster and more convenient, the Ministry of Interior has urged everyone to complete the biometric process well in advance of their trip. Below are the centers, locations, and timings.

How to check if your biometrics are enrolled
- Log into Sahel App
- Click on Services at botom of the screen
- Choose Ministry of Interior > Security Services
- Choose Verifying the necessity of performing a biometric enrollment
- Your civil ID number will automatically appear click on Next button
- Your status of Biometrics will be show
*Those 18 and above must register their biometrics
The Ministry also announced that biometric fingerprinting will no longer be carried out at Kuwait’s airports, land borders, or sea ports. This move aims to reduce congestion and ensure smoother travel. From now on, Kuwaiti citizens must complete fingerprinting at the Criminal Evidence Department’s Personal Identification Centers or National Identity Centers before traveling, while expatriate residents can complete it at any Criminal Evidence Department center in their governorate.
