KUWAIT CITY, June 11: The Kuwait Volleyball Association has issued Circular No. 24/2025 to local clubs, inviting them to confirm their participation and register players for the upcoming 2025-2026 sports season.

The Association outlined the approved age categories for competitions in the new season as follows:

Under-10: Born between 2015 and 2021

Under-12: Born in 2013–2014

Under-14: Born in 2011–2012

Under-16: Born in 2009–2010

Under-19: Born in 2007–2008

For the General (First Division) category, clubs may register up to 17 local players and 2 professional (foreign) players.

The Association confirmed that the player registration window via the electronic system will open on June 15 and continue through July 31. The official first registration period will run from August 3 to October 30.

In a recent meeting between the Federation and club representatives, all parties agreed to schedule the start of the 2025–2026 season for the end of September. The meeting also covered proposals and preparations aimed at enhancing the development of the sport across all age levels.
