KUWAIT CITY, Dec 7 (Agencies): The training venues for the Khaleeji Zain 26", set to take place in Kuwait from December 21 to January 3, have been fully prepared, announced Tariq Al-Kandari, an official with the Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation (AGCFF), on Saturday.
In a press statement, Al-Kandari, a member of the higher organizing committee for the event, confirmed that the official matches will be held at Jaber and Jaber Al-Mubarak stadiums, both of which are completely ready for the championship.
He highlighted that all maintenance work has been completed at the stadiums, with Jaber Al-Mubarak being one of the most modern facilities, designed to meet European standards.
Additionally, security, transportation, and emergency plans have all been put in place for the tournament, he added.
The Kuwaiti team will train at Thamer Stadium at Al-Salmiya Club, while the other participating teams will hold its training sessions at various other stadiums.
The tournament features two groups: Group A, consisting of Qatar, which hosts Kuwait, the UAE, and Oman; and Group B, which includes Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Yemen.
