KUWAIT CITY, Sept 16: The Public Authority for Roads and Transportation (PART) confirmed its full readiness for the upcoming rainy season, with all emergency and response teams fully mobilized, Director General Eng. Khaled Al-Osaimi announced on Tuesday.

In a press statement, Al-Osaimi emphasized that the authority, along with all relevant teams, is fully prepared to respond swiftly to any weather-related emergencies in accordance with pre-established plans.

“There is round-the-clock follow-up to ensure readiness through the authority's emergency teams and concerned units,” Al-Osaimi said, noting that all necessary preparations have been completed, including equipping machinery and water pumps.

He added that a carefully studied plan has been developed to identify and address critical points across the road network to ensure smooth traffic flow and the safety of all road users during the rainy season.
