Kuwait's Khaled Al-Abduljader arrives in Jordan after coordinated evacuation effort
Kuwaiti citizen Khaled Al-Abduljader, who joined the Global Steadfastness Flotilla in Gaza, arrives in Jordan.

AMMAN, Oct 7: A Kuwaiti citizen, Khaled Al-Abduljader, was among 131 nationals from brotherly and friendly countries safely evacuated by Jordan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs from the Global Steadfastness Flotilla through the King Hussein Bridge, the ministry announced Tuesday.

Spokesman Fouad Al-Majali confirmed that the evacuees represented a broad array of countries, including Bahrain, Tunisia, Algeria, Oman, Kuwait, Libya, Pakistan, Turkey, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Colombia, the Czech Republic, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Serbia, South Africa, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Uruguay.

Al-Majali said the ministry, working closely with Jordanian authorities, facilitated the passage of the nationals and provided necessary assistance. He noted that the Jordanian Chargé d’Affaires in Tel Aviv visited three Jordanian citizens detained with the flotilla passengers last Friday to check on their well-being; two had since left by air via Turkey.

The ministry also coordinated with embassies of various countries to organize and ease the departure of their citizens from Jordan.

This evacuation underscores Jordan’s dedication to assisting foreign nationals in distress while fostering diplomatic cooperation with international partners.
