KUWAIT CITY, June 14: Minister of Health Dr. Ahmad Al-Awadhi chaired a meeting of the Ministry of Health's Undersecretaries Council on Friday to review emergency plans and precautionary measures, reaffirming the stability and integration of the national health system.

The meeting, attended by Health Undersecretary Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, focused on assessing the Ministry’s readiness to respond to potential emergencies, ensuring the continuity of healthcare services, and maintaining public health safety.

Ministry of Health Spokesperson Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad stated in a press release that all hospitals and health centers across the country are operating smoothly, with medical services running as normal. He confirmed that medications and medical supplies are readily available at healthcare facilities.

Dr. Al-Sanad highlighted that medical and nursing personnel remain fully prepared in all governorates. He also noted that the Central Blood Bank maintains a vital reserve of blood and continues to receive donors during scheduled periods, supporting national emergency preparedness efforts.

He further explained that the Ministry has secured a strategic stockpile of essential medicines and medical consumables, which is regularly updated and reviewed within a comprehensive logistical framework.
