KUWAIT CITY, Nov 30: The Minister of Health, Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadhi, has granted an exemption from fees and charges for all health services to children with cancer, irrespective of their nationality (Kuwaitis, expatriates, or Bedouins). This exemption applies to services provided by the Ministry in all hospitals and specialized medical centers dedicated to the treatment and follow-up of cancer and related diseases.

For non-Kuwaiti children, the exemption is contingent on providing the initial diagnosis within Kuwait, and the child must hold valid residency. The age of the child at the initial diagnosis should not exceed 16 years, and this exemption will remain in effect until the child reaches 18 years of age.
