CAIRO, Jan 31, (KUNA): Abdulaziz Al-Saad from Kuwait has secured a spot in the final of the ISSF World Cup 2024, clinching fifth place in the "Skeet" contest held in Cairo. The event is ongoing and is scheduled to conclude on February 1.

In a statement to KUNA on Tuesday, Al-Saad expressed his satisfaction with the achievement and sees it as the beginning of a series of positive outcomes in upcoming competitions. Topping the qualifying round with a score of 124, Al-Saad acknowledged the support provided by the national team's technical staff during the championship, which comprises five contests.

Meanwhile, Egypt's Azmi Mehelba claimed the gold medal in the same competition, with Britain's Ben Llewelli securing silver and Germany's Glen Korte earning the bronze.The ISSF World Cup 2024 encompasses Rifle, Pistol, and Shotgun contests, drawing participation from over 600 shooters representing 66 countries.
