Security authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the arrest of a female citizen and her brother at the Nuwaiseeb port. The woman was attempting to leave the country despite having no recorded entry into Kuwait.

Investigations revealed that the citizen had clandestinely entered the country before the recent National Assembly elections. Surveillance footage showed her hiding in her brother's car before reaching the immigration gate at the port. Military personnel suspected of aiding the citizen and her brother have also been arrested.

The sources confirmed that the woman had voted in the elections, leaving her citizenship card at the polling center. Further investigation into her records revealed that her last recorded movement was an exit from Kuwait. Preliminary findings suggest that she is registered as a citizen in the database of one more Gulf country. She has been detained pending further investigation on charges of illegal entry, while security personnel continue to investigate the case.
