Kuwaiti sought in murder attempt of his relative

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 8: Police are looking for an unidentified Kuwaiti who is believed to be in his 30s for pouring an inflammable substance on his ex-brother-in-law in an attempt to murder him because of differences between them, reports Al-Anba daily.

According to the victim, who was first rushed to the Farwaniya Hospital and then to the Al-Babtain Hospital for Burns where he was in intensive care unit for two days before being moved to the general ward, told the Sulaibiya Police Station the suspect lured him into going with him to Kabad to talk to him in a quiet place and attacked him from behind when the victim’s attention was diverted.

The victim is said to have suffered severe burns on his entire body particularly the back. The cause of revenge was the victim’s sister who had sought divorce from the man because he was constantly harassing her and her father and brother (the victim) had taken the case to court. The Public Prosecution has ordered the arrest of the suspect.
