BEIRUT, June 18: Youssef Al-Dhafiri, the talented Kuwaiti racer, accomplished an impressive fourth-place finish in Group (N) during the 11th local Jezzine Rally. This thrilling event, hosted by the Lebanese Automobile and Touring Club as part of the second round of the 2023 Lebanese Rally Championship, showcased Al-Dhafiri's exceptional driving skills.

Following the rally's conclusion, Mashari Al-Dhafiri, a champion racer in his own right, informed the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that both he and his brother Youssef participated in the rally, which covered a distance exceeding 237 kilometers. Unfortunately, Mashari had to retire from the race due to a technical issue with his car. However, Youssef persevered and secured an impressive fourth place in Group (N).

Mashari also highlighted his achievements in previous rounds, having participated in the rally circuits of Oman, Qatar, and Jordan. He currently leads the standings in Group (N), while his brother Youssef holds a respectable fourth place in the overall rankings of the Middle East Rally for the same group.

Youssef Al-Dhafiri expressed his satisfaction with their participation in the local championship, stating that it served as valuable preparation for the upcoming Middle East Rally Championship. Both brothers aimed to fine-tune their cars technically and sharpen their mental focus as drivers, in anticipation of the championship's fourth round to be held in Lebanon.
