Kuwaiti Navy to conduct live ammunition drill June 15-16; public advised to stay clear

KUWAIT CITY, June 12: The Kuwaiti Naval Forces will carry out live ammunition shooting exercises on Sunday and Monday, June 15 and 16, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., the Army's Moral Guidance and Public Relations Directorate announced Thursday.

According to the statement, the exercises will take place at the marine shooting range shown on the map, located 16.5 nautical miles east of Ras Al-Julai'a extending to Qaruh Island, and 6 nautical miles east of Ras Al-Zour extending to Umm Al-Maradem Island.

The directorate urged citizens and residents, including seafarers, fishing enthusiasts, and picnickers, to avoid the designated area during the exercise period for their safety.
