KUWAIT CITY, Sep 2: As part of the Ministry of Interior’s ongoing efforts to combat crime and curb illegal practices that endanger public health and safety, the Criminal Security Sector — represented by the General Department of Criminal Investigations, Ahmadi Governorate has arrested a Kuwaiti citizen, Abdullah Ali Hussein Muhammad Al-Haddad, on charges of fraud.

Al-Haddad allegedly deceived clients by claiming he could cure diseases, treat infertility, reconcile couples, and break spells in exchange for money.

Investigations revealed that he was conducting these activities inside a rented apartment in the Mahboula area, which he disguised as a family residence to conceal his fraudulent operations. With the necessary legal authorization, security teams searched the premises and found that the accused was exploiting the location to provide fake “medical consultations.” He falsely claimed the ability to expel jinn, cure illnesses, and break spells, while also selling various products as part of his scam.

Authorities also discovered that Al-Haddad was misusing an outdated social consulting license and working in collaboration with Nour Al-Amin Abdul Razzaq, a Bangladeshi national employed as his driver. Razzaq reportedly helped bring in clients and deliver products, particularly targeting members of the Asian community.

Both suspects, along with the seized items, were referred to the competent authorities for legal action.

The Ministry of Interior reiterated its commitment to pursuing individuals who attempt to disrupt public order or engage in illegal activities, emphasizing that strict legal measures will be taken against anyone who threatens the security and safety of society.
